At ÉDITIONS WOKE UP! we create books, E-books, audio contents for everyone, for adults and children, and beautiful books for everyone. Beautiful, accessible books for all families and community.

Books to read together, bond and love endlessly. These are books that you or your children will read dozens (hundreds!) of times, and that will leave an indelible mark on their childhood and your memories.

Books that we also imagine with you in mind. Because we want you to like them, so that they become objects of sharing, upheaval and exchange, and create unique and unforgettable moments.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

ÉDITIONS WOKE UP! subscribes to the “Declaration for independent, decolonial, ecological, feminist, free, social and united publishing” of the International Alliance of Independent Publishers, a professional collective of 750 independent publishing houses in 55 countries worldwide, organized into 6 language networks (English-speaking, Arabic-speaking, French-speaking, Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking and Persian-speaking) and thematic groups.

All the Alliance's activities aim to promote bibliodiversity.

Our publishing house mainly publishes essays on current social issues, and novels for both children and adults.
We invite you to send us your manuscript by e-mail, together with a note of intent and a presentation of the author in PDF format.


We take note of all projects submitted to us, but due to the very high volume of manuscripts we receive, we can no longer systematically reply to the authors of unsuccessful projects.


If you do not hear from us within two months, you can assume that your project has not been unanimously accepted by the team.

SECOND HAND & UPCYCLING

Like many independent houses that pride themselves on an artisanal approach to our business (i.e. balancing financial constraints with other constraints), we do very little, if any, pounding.

We organize “Seconde hand” book fairs and Troc parties.

Faded, overstocked, end-of-series, defective: all these books find a second life with the inhabitants of our district, instead of being destroyed.
